開幕喇！開幕喇！霍格華茲魔術學堂正式隆重揭幕喇！今次我們請來了魔術大師，親自傳授各種超神奇的魔術的秘訣，要讓您成為真正的魔術達人。
目的：透過魔術，提高學員的自信心，改進記憶、規劃、排定優先次序、分辨色彩、數學邏輯、大小肌肉訓練，增強溝通技巧和改善人際關係。從計劃一個表演的過程中，提高學員對身邊事物的敏感度，訓練思維和與人協作的技巧。
內容教授：近距離魔術和生活魔術。
材料包括：撲克牌、硬幣、繩子魔術，以及專業道具的操作使用。

Back to school! Back to school! Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry is formally open to the public. We have cordially invited professional magicians to teach you the wonderful techniques of doing magic. This will help you to become great magicians yourself.
Aims: Through magic classes, students’ self esteem can be improved. It also helps improve memory, planning, priority arrangement, colour recognition, mathematical logic, big and small muscle training, communication skills and human relationships. Students can train their sensitivity to, and awareness of, their surroundings when they plan a magic show. Furthermore, it trains students’ thinking skills and collaboration skills.
Content: students learn macro-magic and live magic.
Magic tools include playing cards, coins, pieces of string and other professional tools for operation.

Sharings African Drumming Arena (Djembe)

《心窗非洲鼓樂聚》是一套結合了團隊凝聚力、專注力、創造力、協作力及溝通能力於一體的訓練系統；同時，也是一項有效的合作學習活動(cooperative learning activity)；在訓練過程中產生師生互動、生生互動和全員互動的學習元素；讓學員感到成功、進步和發展的快樂，這正是學習的推動力。

‘Sharings African Drumming Arena’ is a training system which fosters students’ cohesion, concentration, creativity, collaborative and communication abilities. Meanwhile, it is an effective cooperative learning activity. During the training process, it involves teacher-students interaction, student-student interaction and whole group interaction. It helps student develop a sense of competency and satisfaction through improvement and development which is an important motivating force for learning.

The tutor will teach the correct way to hold a calligraphy pen and introduce the meanings and structures of words.

Angus has learnt yoga for more than 12 years. He attained an advanced tutor certificate from Society for Hong Kong Yoga Instructors and has taught yoga for 10 years.

To learn how to observe, predict, experiment and draw conclusions in order to arouse children’s curiosity and questioning skills. Everyday things are used as teaching materials and are absolutely safe for children.

北京舞蹈學院中國舞等級考試課程

Beijing Dance Academy Chinese Dance Graded Examination Courses

為推動中國舞的發展及提高香港的中國舞水平，香港舞蹈總會自1989年開始，與北京舞蹈學院聯合在香港推出「中國舞等級考試」課程。每年春季及秋季期間，由北京舞蹈學院委派考官，主理師資培訓及學生考試事宜。推出是項課程以來，有超過四百名本港舞蹈教師參加了各級培訓，現每年有二千多名考生參加各級考試。為保證考試程序公正及完善，各級學生考試均由考評局代辦。詳情可參考香港考試及評核局網頁。

To promote Chinese dance and the professional performance of Chinese Dance in Hong Kong, the Hong Kong Dance Federation has joined with the Beijing Dance Academy to launch Chinese Dance Graded Examination courses in Hong Kong since 1989. Every spring and autumn, an examiner appointed by the Beijing Dance Academy comes to Hong Kong in order to provide training to teachers and hold student examinations. Since 1989, over four hundred Hong Kong dance teachers have participated in training at all levels. Today, there are more than 2,000 candidates each year participating in all levels of examination. To ensure that the examination process is fair and perfect, the examinations at all levels are administrated by HKEAA agents. 由北京舞蹈學院中國舞教授孫光言主編的《中國舞等級考試教材》是我國第一套為幼兒、兒童、少年、青年、中年及舞蹈教育而編的校外舞蹈素質教育系列教材，也是目前唯一的一套經國家文化部確認、可以跨省、市推行的《中國舞蹈考級教材》。

The “Syllabus for Graded Examination on Chinese Dance” was edited by Professor Sun Guangyan of the Beijing Dance Academy. It is the first series of syllabuses on Chinese Dance for pre-school, elementary school children and youth dancers for the purpose of popularizing Chinese dance art.

考級課程自1986年國內推行迄今已十餘年。全國共設有考點50多個，各省市接受培訓的教師已逾萬人。香港地區由香港舞蹈總會管理，由香港考試及評審局(考試局)負責及安排考試。北京舞蹈學校委託派考官主持考試。

Beginning in 1986, Mainland China implemented Graded Exams on Chinese Dance. There are more than 50 examination centres in China and there have been more than a million trained teachers in different provinces and cities. In Hong Kong, it is held by the Hong Kong Dance Federation and the examination is administered and arranged by HKEAA. Beijing Dance School is responsible for sending commissioned examiners to hold the examinations.

課程內容 Course Contents

中國古典舞–基訓、身韻；

中國民族民間舞–漢族、藏族、蒙族、維族、朝鮮族、傣族、苗族、彝族；

墊上技術–滾翻；

舞蹈節奏感訓練，共四部份，是北京舞蹈學院中國舞蹈訓練體系的一部份。

課程第十級的水準接近舞蹈學院附中一年級；

十一級至十二級課程是舞院附中課程的簡化。

Chinese classical dance includes basic training, body rhyming;

Chinese Folk Dance includes the Han, Tibetan, Mongolian, Uighur, Korean, Dai, Miao, Yi styles;

On-the-mat technology includes rolls;

Dance rhythm training includes a total of four parts, which is a part of the dance training system at the Beijing Dance Academy. The ability of Grade 10 students is similar to the intermediate (1) of the Dance Academy; Grade 11 to 12 courses are simplified versions of the intermediate curriculum of the Dance Academy.

本課程根據兒童不同年齡特質，以雙手、眼睛、身體、步伐、韻律等各方面着手，發展動作協調和促進動作形體美，培育兒童的專注力、觀察力、想像力、記憶力、模仿力、創作力和思考能力。一級至四級學生將會以普通話一邊唱歌一邊跳舞。

The design of this course is based on the characteristics of children of different ages and their development in different aspects such as hands, eyes, body, pace and rhythm. It also develops movement, promotes the aesthetic of physical action, nurtures children’ s attention, observation, imagination, memory, imitation, creativity and thinking skills. Grade 1 to 4 students will sing Mandarin songs while dancing.

宗旨Philosophy

符合幼兒、兒童、少年及青年心理及生理特點。注意他們的情趣及訓練的科學性、系統性、全面性，著重灌輸民族特色，培養他們熱愛中國舞蹈藝術、弘揚中華文化。

The syllabus aims to meet the psychological and physiological characteristics of children and youth dancers in the program. Special attention is given to their particular interests. The training is scientific, systematic and comprehensive. Especially, it promotes the style of different Chinese folk dances. It instills ethnic characteristics and helps students understand and appreciate Chinese songs and dances and fosters a love of Chinese dance art and culture.

考試 Examination

參加資格Requirement of taking the exam :

課程由北京舞蹈學院制定，共十二級。學生必須完成有關級別之訓練課程。入讀及報考的年齡須視乎學生個人能力及教師的推薦，年齡不設上限，但不可少於規定。已參加考試之考生可按年升一級。

This curriculum is planned by Beijing Dance Academy. There are 12 grades. Students must complete relevant courses before taking the examination. Application depends on the students’ abilities and teacher’ s recommendation. There is no upper age limit but students must not be below the minimum age. Candidates can apply for one higher grade examination the following year.

學生成績Student results:

考生可獲發成績單乙份，合格考生可獲北京舞蹈學院考級中心頒發之證書，成績優良者可獲該級別證書。

Each student will get one result notice. For students who pass the examination, they will receive a certificate which is distributed by The Examination Board of the Beijing Dance Academy. For students who attain excellent performance, they will be granted a further corresponding certificate.

老師持北京舞蹈學院老師資歷證書。

The teacher obtained teacher certificates of Beijing Dance Academy Chinese Dance Graded Examination.

學生須進行面試。 An interview is arranged for this class.

CSTD Jazz Dance

CSTD是一個國際知名的國際舞蹈組織，於澳洲及亞太區提供不同舞蹈的考級服務80年，服務對象由幼童至教師。

The Commonwealth Society of Teachers of Dancing, C.S.T.D., is one of the great International Dance Societies proudly serving Dance for 80 years, providing examinations in all major dance disciplines from Tinies to Teacher qualifications throughout Australia & the Asian-Pacific region.

在香港，CSTD考試是由香港舞蹈總會及香港考評局提供。

CSTD examinations are offered through the Hong Kong Dance Federation in Hong Kong and the HKEAA is appointed to administer the examinations in Hong Kong.

宗旨Philosophy

本課程的首要重點是讓學生體驗迷人的舞蹈世界，孕育他們熱愛身體律動和音樂的情操，當學生漸漸成長及成熟時，本課程將會教導正規的舞蹈技巧和發展美感，包括更高級的舞姿、紀律和自信。本課程的設計同時兼顧教育和娛樂，讓學生心中有舞蹈，注重優雅及留下美好的舞蹈回憶。

This curriculum focuses firstly on instilling a love for the fascinating world of dance in our students and captivating their natural enthusiasm for body movement and music. As our students grow and become mature, the course will transit into a more serious study of formal dance technique and artistic development that will prepare them with the poise, discipline and confidence they need as dancers. It is also designed to both educate and entertain students, always keeping in mind the special place that dancing holds in their hearts, instilling grace and memory in life.

Theatrical Stage Dance

本課程主要是發展舞者成為一名表演者，內容包括爵士舞、古典舞、踢踏舞及雜技。本課程亦設有舞台考試，增加學生的舞台經驗。

This syllabus will educate and develop a dancer to be an accomplished performer in all genres of dance in Jazz, Classical, Tap and Acrobatics. Stage examinations are also conducted for further experience in the field of “Theatrics” .

該入門課程主要是鼓勵幼童喜愛身體律動及享受活動過程。幼兒考生將會在考試後獲發一枚獎牌，以資鼓勵。

This exam is aimed at giving them an introduction to procedure as well as excellent encouragement & enjoyment. The nursery candidates receive instant recognition with the presentation of a medal on completion of their dance from the Examiner.

現代爵士舞Modern Jazz

現代爵士舞採用了不同的元素，包括社交、劇場和美學的舞蹈形態，它常見於舞台及娛樂活動。它不但能吸引舞者，而且也能吸引觀眾。

Modern jazz dance has adopted elements from various social, theatrical and artistic dance forms and it is common on the stage and in leisure activities. It is charming, not only for the dancer, but also for the audience.

現代爵士舞是當代的舞蹈，它反映了「自己做自己的事」的哲學觀念。爵士舞的美，在於它表現當前或現在的美學，並抓緊最新的發展。這正與民族舞或土風舞相反，因為民族舞或土風舞是表達過去傳統的文化。

It is contemporary and reflects a “do your own thing” philosophy. The beauty in jazz dance lies in the fact that it is current and “now” and continuously grasps the new, as opposed to folkdance for instance, whose beauty lies in its traditions, reflecting the culture of the past.

Modern Jazz dance provides a good foundation for anyone stepping into the dance world for the first time. If you are not sure of your favourite style, Jazz could be your path to self discovery.

現代爵士舞考試自2004年開始，分十級考試，包括兩項幼兒級考試。

The Modern Jazz Syllabus released in 2004 comprises 10 Grades (includes 2 optional preliminary grades).

學生必須最少由第一級開始考試，不設跳級。

Students start from at least grade1. No grade-jumping is allowed.

Go games have long been regarded as games that benefits learning and development, especially when played from a young age.

Benefits include:

•Improving ability to recognize complex patterns and consequently excel in Math and Science.

•Enhancing higher-order thinking skills, analyzing actions and consequences, and visualizing future possibilities.

•Improving concentration and memory

There are no simple procedures to turn a clear lead into a victory -- only continued good play. Our class aims to spark your children’s interest in the game, and thus, strengthen their problem-solving skills.

教學形式 Method of teaching:

大棋盤講授，教師與學員即場示範。每堂學員均要實戰對弈。

每位學員均有機會與導師下一盤以上指導棋。

每堂有習題供學員訓練，成績供導師在實戰時作為個別補授之依據。

We adopt a hands-on approach.

1. Teaching – our teacher will explain the game and how to improve.

2. Demonstration – our teacher will demonstrate by playing games with the students.

3. Practice – Students will play games against each other and our teacher will suggest areas of improvement on an individual basis.

Each student will have at least one opportunity to play against the teacher. Also, there will be exercises for students to practise.

少林易經八段錦

Shaolin Baduangun

少林易經经八段錦锦是少林历高僧從易筋經经逐步演变變出来的一套功法。該功法以調和陰陽、通理三焦為主旨。這功法專注其氣以動入靜，調和五臟六腑使氣脈升降有序，以靜引動、同和上下、和暢氣血、順乎五形、充實五臟，驅外感之諸邪，消內感之百病。常習者可涵養身心，去病延年。

This practice initiates from movements to calmness. It coordinates different

internal organs in order to assist the up and down of “qi”. It leads from quietness to movement, neutrializing the upper and lower body. It also helps intestine movement and blood flow. The actions follow the shape of the five organs and strengthen them. It calms external emotions or evil feelings, in addition to reducing illnesses.

Students who always practise can beneficial physical and mental health.

本課程由少林34代俗家弟子刘劉相彪法號：延緣師傅教授。

武當太極拳二十八式是武當弟子必練拳法之一，其動作舒展大方，行如流水連綿不斷，柔中有剛和剛柔相濟。太極拳注重用意不用力，氣沉丹田，動作以緩為主。適合不同年齡人士練習，從而達到強身健體、防身自衛、精神飽滿等功效。

Wudang Tai Ji juan is one of the compulsory basic boxing styles. It stretches in a gentleman manner. The actions are connected continuously. This boxing focuses on determination not on force. The “qi” is gathered at ‘單田 Dang Tian.’ The action is mainly slow and steady.

It is suitable for different age groups to practise so as to strengthen the body, self-defend or help with good spirits.

郭東衛---武當三豐派第十五代功夫傳人，持國家武術教練資格

Guo Dong Wei is in Wudang San Fang Team with a 15th generation Martial Arts Coach qualification.

郭師父自幼學武，十餘歲隨師父到武當山學習武當功夫，其間所參予的多個武術比賽皆獲得第一名和優秀成績。郭師傅曾出訪多國表演武當功夫，教學經驗十分豐富，曾為來自多個國家的學生教授武當功夫，成績優異。

He has learned martial arts since he was young. When he was a teenager, he followed his master to Wudang Hill to learn Wudong Martial Arts. He was a champion with excellent performance in many competitions.

Mr. Guo has been performing in different countries. He is experienced in teaching. His students from different countries has shown excellent performance in Wudang Martial Arts.

本課程以普通話進行 This course is conducted in Putonghua.

資訊科技的技術已影響我們生活的每一個細節，Adobe設計軟件能讓整個設計及印刷行業發生翻天覆地的轉變，從理論上來說，一台電腦可以完成以往相當於一個工業團隊的工作。本課程讓學員了解未來設計發展的方向，方便他們在學習和工作中自行設計及製作作品，例如圖片處理、賀卡、專題研習報告、年報、出版物、個人影集、個人網頁、應用程式Apps等。

*學員須自備個人電腦、數碼繪圖板、數碼繪圖筆及向相關機構購買Adobe設計軟件套裝，因這樣做更切合學生實際使用情況。

IT technology is affecting our lives in every way. Adobe causes world-shaking changes in the design and publishing sectors. From the theory point of view, a computer can complete a task which used to be completed by a team or crew. This course helps students to understand the future development of design and make it convenient to design and produce their own products such as photo processing, greeting cards, project reports, annual reports, publishing booklets, private photo albums, private websites, Apps, etc.

*Students please bring your own laptop with Adobe design software, graphic tablets with pens to attend the lessons. Using students’ laptop fits their actual usage.

倉頡乃目前最流行的快速中文輸入法之一，其規則簡單，輸入效率高，是求職擇業和完成專題研習必備的技巧。本課程講解倉頡拆字取碼的方法，記憶輔助字形的秘訣、簡易、字首及字身、複合字、特殊字、難字及包含替代等，使學員可以輕鬆掌握中文打字技能，並應用於實際工作中。

Chajie is the most popular computer input system. With its simplicity and high efficiency, it has become one of the most indispensable skills in the workplace and project work.The lesson will focus mainly on the way of inputing and memorizing different components of characters. Students can learn Chajie in a relaxing environment. It will become practical in many fields for the students in the future.

本課程旨在透過資料組織、相互檢驗及提問，加強學生的抽象思維能力和分析力。通過研究，學生學習辨別事實與意見，辨別資料來源的可靠度，分析論點、組織論點，以作辯論及寫議論文之用。學生同時學會如何有禮貌地和尊敬地表達他們的論點。本課程將協助學生改善公眾演說的技巧和團隊協作的能力。本課程將協助學生發展在高等教育及工作上需要的關鍵技巧。

This course aims at enhancing pupils’ abstract and analytical thinking skills through the organisation of information and cross-examination/questioning. Through researching various debate topics, students learn to distinguish facts from opinions and to evaluate the reliability of the sources that will be presented to them, analyze the arguments that they will hear and take part in, and organise their ideas for a debate or persuasive writing. Students also learn how to persuade others by expressing their point of view politely and respectfully. It also helps improve students’ public speaking skills and enhances teamwork and collaborative skills. Gifted students will benefit from this programme by developing key skills that will be required if they continue in higher education and beyond that, into the workplace.
