國際交流英語考試（又稱托業考試）是為評定日常工作英語能力而設。通過此試可讓大學學生為國際性工作作更佳準備，並為首次求職或希望取得更高職位者提高競爭力。此試並不是微觀地為個別英語項目評核，而是從商業應用角度宏觀地評核考生的語文水平。因此，富有經驗的導師會與學生探討一系列的教學材料，用不同的方法輔助學生提高英語水平，其中包括新聞報告、商業業務通信和研究材料。

 

The Test of English for International Communication measures language ability in everyday workplace activities. Completing TOEIC enables university students to better prepare for the international workforce, and gives those seeking a first or higher job a competitive edge. TOEIC does not measure what has been learned in one particular English class but evaluates candidates general command of the language in a business setting. As such, experienced tutors help students use and explore a range of materials, resources and methods to improve, including news reports, business communications and research materials.

SAT是美國絕大多數大學的入學統一考試，是為評估學生接受高等教育的準備程度而設。此試分為數學、批判式閱讀和寫作三大範疇。本預備課程將會幫助學生更熟悉此試，讓他們更掌握考試模式和答題技巧，而重點將是提高學生的詞彙量和閱讀理解。課程亦會提供一系列的功課和題目，並給予表現分析和建議的報告。此預備課程亦同時適用於大多數的考試。

 

The SAT is a standardized exam required for entry to most universities in the USA. The test is intended to assess a student’s readiness for tertiary education. There are three sections—Mathematics, Critical Reading, and Writing. This preparation programme will help students become familiar with the exam, so as to know what to expect and how to tackle questions. Emphasis is placed on improving vocabulary and reading comprehension. Students are provided with assignments featuring a range and quantity of questions, followed by feedback reports with performance analysis and recommendations. SAT Subject Test preparation is also available for most of the tests offered.

SSAT是專為小三至中五而設的入學試。此試分為三個級別，分別為包括數學、口語、閱讀和寫作。此試能評核獨立學校學生的學術水平。本預備課程為學生更認識他們學術強項和弱項，讓他們更熟識考試時遇到的各類問題，並給予他們實用小技巧、應試策略，讓他們在時間控制方面做得更好，取得佳績。本預備課程亦會提供模擬試卷，完成後亦會有意見回饋。

 

The SSAT is an admission test designed for students in P.3 through F.5, administered at three levels. It consists of testing sections for quantitative, verbal, reading and writing skills. The SSAT measures student ability, and is a tool for independent schools to measure a student’s academic capabilities. Participation in the SSAT can provide students with valuable information about their academic strengths and weaknesses in preparation for the SAT. This preparation course exposes students to the types of questions they will encounter on the exams; shares tips, insights and strategies for time management and high-scoring; gives mock exams and feedback on performance.

Hola!  Do you know Spanish is the third-most-spoken language in the world?  There are more than 22 countries, over 400 million people, who communicate in Spanish.  It has a very important role in the world.  If you know Spanish, you can know more about other countries’ culture, get along well with friends and increase your business opportunities.  Spanish DELE (Diploma de Españnol Lengua Extranjera) is delivered by Instituto Cervantes.  If you obtain this certificate, your Spanish communication abilities will be recognized worldwide.

DELE分為三個等級 DELE is divided into:

 

(1)Nivel Inicial (Elementary初級)

基本場景會話 (上課時數): 320小時

(2)Nivel Intermedio (Intermediate中級)

日常生活會話 (上課時數): 400小時

Daily life conversations (Total no. of hours): 400

 

(3)Nivel Superior (Advanced高級)

掌握西班牙語高級用法，並了解西班牙語文化 (上課時數): 600小時

Master the usage of Spanish and the culture of Spain (Total no. of hours): 600

 

本課程的目標是希望為學員提供一個豐富專業的外語環境，讓他們在歡樂與趣味當中對西班牙語及西班牙文化有基本的認識。而透過有系統的課程，學員能夠掌握西班牙語的文法結構、詞彙與發音，讓學生在讀、寫、聽、說方面的能力都能夠得以提升。本課程亦讓學生有機會進行模擬考試，藉以熟習考試模式及應試策略。學生在模擬試後，將獲得一份報告。讓學生了解自己的學習情況，並為考試作好準備。

 

The aim of this curriculum is to provide an abundant and professional Spanish-speaking environment, in order to let students enjoy learning Spanish and know the basic culture of Spain.  Through the systematic curriculum, students can master the grammatical structure, vocabulary and pronunciation of Spanish.  It can boost students’ skills in reading, writing, listening and speaking.  This curriculum also provides mock examinations so as to let students master examination strategies.  After the mock examinations, students will obtain a report.  Therefore, students will know their learning progress and how to prepare for the examination.

甚麼是DELF/DALF考試?  What is DELF/DALF?

法語鑑定文憑(DELF-DALF)是法國教育部批核及派發給外籍人士的法語能力檢定文憑，更是欲前往法國求學的學生申請學校時最有力的法語能力證明！DELF-DALF各級的考試可分別考取，個別獨立且檢定結果永久有效呢！每年有超過35萬人報考，並已經有6萬多人次獲得文憑！DELF-DALF檢定考試約於每年一月(A1、A2、B1、B2、C1、C2)、四月(A1、A2、B1、B2)及十二月(A1、A2、B1、B2、C1、C2)舉行。

DELF-DALF is officially recognized by the Education Department of France.  It is a powerful certificate for students who wish to study in France.  DELF-DALF can be taken individually and its validity lasts forever.  Over 350,000 people take the examination every year and more than 60,000 candidates attain diplomas!  The DELF-DALF exam is usually carried out in January (A1, A2, B1, B2, C1 and C2), April (A1, A2, B1, B2) and December (A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2).

 

本課程專為準備法語檢定考試的學員推出的考前準備課程，藉由題型的演練以及口語的訓練，在最短的時間幫助學員適應考試模式，充分發揮自身的法語實力！每次課程共分為「聽、說、讀、寫」四部份，有興趣之學員亦可直接致電中心詢問。

This curriculum is especially designed to prepare students to tackle the French benchmark assessment.  There will be a lot of practice and oral activities in a short time to teach students how to perform naturally and freely in the examinations.  Each curriculum consists of listening, speaking, reading and writing.

Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) Preparatory Course

 

簡介Introduction

日語能力考試原則上是為母語並非日語的人士，測定及認証日文能力的考試。由1984開始，每年12月第一個星期天在世界各地舉行。由2009年起，日語能力考試分別在7月及12月，一年舉辦兩次，7月暫只舉辦1、2級考試 (舉辦城市地區包括：日本、中國、韓國、台灣，香港)，12月則如常舉辦五個級別的考試。

Japanese Language Proficiency Test, in principle, is for those whose mother tongue is not Japanese.  It is used to test participants’ Japanese language ability with a certification exam.  Since 1984, the test has been held on the first Sunday in December each year around the world.  From 2009 onwards, Japanese Language Proficiency Test, is held in July and December respectively, JLPT only holds level 1 and 2 examinations (held in urban areas including: Japan, China, South Korea, Taiwan and Hong Kong) in July temporarily and it holds the usual five-level examinations in December yearly.

 

在日本國內由「財團法人日本國際教育支援協會」主辦；而日本以外地方則由日本的「國際交流基金」及國際交流基金指定團體協辦。「香港日本語教育研究會」乃香港及澳門地區的協辦團體，統籌香港及澳門地區日語能力考試有關事宜。

In Japan, JLPT is held by “Japan Educational Exchanges and Services” and “Japan Foundation” and authorized organizations organize the test outside Japan.  “Japanese Language Education in Hong Kong” is the authorized co-organizers in Hong Kong and Macau.  It co-ordinates JLPT and related issues both in Hong Kong and Macau.

 

考試分為1級、2級、3級、4級及5級五個級別。1級為最高程度。每級考試分開「文字．語彙」、「聽解」及「讀解．文法」共三部份。所有考生將由日本主辦機構發給成績單。考試合格者會獲發該級証書。

Examinations are divided into level one, two, three, four and five. Level one is the highest level.  The examinations at each level are separated.  Each examination includes vocabulary, listening, reading and grammar, a total of three parts. All candidates will  obtain transcripts issued by Japan’s organizer.  Successful candidates will be given a relevant and recognized certificate.

 

本中心現提供三至五級能力試課程、適合初學人士。每班學生人數約3~8人，導師更能照顧每個學員需要，貼身為同學解答問題及糾正日語發音。

Learning Garden now offers three to five capacity test courses for beginners. Class size is about 3 to 8 people.  Teachers can take good care of each student, answer students’ questions and correct students’ Japanese pronunciation.

本課程是日本語的入門課程，着重講授日文字母（假名）、日語發音、簡單的日常用語、會話、句子結構等。學員完成此課程後，應能：

This is the basic curriculum which emphasizes on the Japanese alphabet, kana, pronunciation and basic daily life conversations and sentence patterns. After the completion of this course, students can:

 

1.  完全掌握日本語的發音；Completely master Japanese pronunciation;

2.  運用一些常用單句及簡單會話；Use simple sentences to communicate;

3.  具備赴考五級能力試的能力。Take the 5th-grade Japanese Proficiency Test.

五級能力試課程 1 Japanese Proficiency Test 5th-grade Preparatory Course 1

平假名、片假名之認識讀寫。發音技巧、自我介紹。句子結構與基本文法分析。數字、人物、地點、時間、日期之說明方法及簡單會話。

Students learn how to read and write hiragana and katakana pronunciation, self introduction and  basic communication; Numbers; People; Place;

合共上課23堂，每堂為1.5小時 Time and Date. 23 lessons in total, each lesson lasts for 1.5 hours

 

五級能力試課程 2 Japanese Proficiency Test 5th-grade Preparatory Course 2

動詞、形容詞、外來語等說明。空間位置、勸誘表現、接受和給予物件時之表達方法。

Verbs and adjectives, words of foreign origin; spatial arrangement; location; persuasion, advice and encouragement; accepting and offering.

合共上課20堂，每堂為1.5小時 20 lessons in total, each lesson  lasts for 1.5 hours

 

五級能力試課程 3 Japanese Proficiency Test 5th-grade Preparatory Course 3

動詞和形容詞之運用、動詞、形容詞之過去式。比較、准許及禁止之表現。

The application of verbs with past forms of verbs and adjectives; comparisons; permission and prohibition.

合共上課20堂，每堂為1.5小時20 lessons in total, each lesson  lasts for 1.5 hours

 

五級能力試課程 4 Japanese Proficiency Test 5th-grade Preparatory Course 4

經驗、條件引用、恩惠之表現。 表達意見的說話方法。

Sharing of experiences; conditional; favors, kindness and politeness; expressing opinions.

合共上課20堂，每堂為1.5小時 20 lessons in total, each lesson  lasts for 1.5 hours
