Watercolour Painting Advanced Course

 

水彩畫的特點是畫面明亮、輕快、顏色純淨、用色透明和用筆肯定。不必要的「複改」都會使畫面減損水彩畫的光輝。水彩畫的水與色的完美結合，更能突顯出絕妙的藝術境界，為畫者所傾倒、崇拜繼而狂熱追求。 導師在長期的教學過程中，積累了豐富的教學經驗，在本課程中將與學員分享如何把握好水彩畫的四大特性，即水性、色性、紙性和時間性之間微妙的變化。

Water colour paintings have distinct characteristics. They are bright in appearance and contain pure colours, yet they are also transparent and firm. It would be easy to change the simplicity and composition of this style of painting but tampering with this simple technique would destroy the brightness of the painting. The colours in the pictures seem to flow and water is the key element in the materials used that allows this to happen.

 Watercolour painting is one of the most renowned techniques used in the art world and many old and modern painters adore using it. Tutors have accumulated abundant teaching experience of more than ten years. In this course, tutors will share their experience of how to make good use of the water properties, colour properties, paper properties and how to make use of time to create subtle changes.

 

水彩畫畫幅小，便於攜帶，製作方便，適合收藏，現代水彩畫廣泛應用於插畫、室內設計、時裝設計等商業領域，是最為實用的繪畫技術，凡對視覺藝術有興趣的各年齡階段人士均可報讀本課程。

 The size of watercolour paintings are small and they are easy to carry around. They are also easy to paint and store at home. Modern watercolour painting is widely used in commerce such as illustration, indoor design and fashion design. It is one of the most

practical styles of painting. This course is suitable for people of different ages with basic skills who are interested in painting.

1.教授水彩畫的基本畫法及一些特殊技法；

The basic skills of watercolours and special skills ofwatercolours.

2.着重繪畫步驟訓練，加強對水份、色彩、紙張、時間這四項要素的掌握；

The tutor will help students to master the four most important elements of watercolour painting: the amount of water needed, the colours used, the correct paper to use and effective use of time.

3.通過戶外寫生、商業插畫、室內設計、時裝設計等商業實踐，提高應用水彩技法的實用能力。

Through commercial practices such as outdoor painting, commercial illustration, indoor design and fashion design, the course helps students to master the practical skills of using watercolours.

塑膠彩基礎課程

Acrylic Basic Painting Course

 

塑膠彩又稱「丙烯」、Acrylic或「壓克力」，是以水調合顏料的畫種，塑膠彩既有水彩畫的渲染暈化(Diffusion)的濕畫法，也有像油畫一樣渾厚蒼勁的筆觸，可作為油畫入門的練習，具有極強的表現力，而且快乾，被譽為高科技的畫種。

Acrylic (also called propylene) is mixed with water to create a special effect with both watercolours and wet painting. It relies on a forceful use of the brush which creates dramatic results and it can be serve as a basic skill of painting. It is a dynamic style of painting and is convenient as it dries quickly. It is considered a hightech

style of painting in today’s modern art world.

1. 繪畫色彩學常識；

Basic colour knowledge

2. 基本技法: 用筆法、厚塗法、薄塗法、濕接法、用刀作畫法、混合材料畫法等；

Basic skills: brush controlling, impasto, soft cover, wet in wet, pallette knife, mixed material .

3. 靜物寫生、風景畫、抽象畫。

Still life sketching, landscape painting, and abstract painting.

Oil Painting Course

 

油畫課程教授油畫創作的知識和技巧，從而提高你的創意和藝術性。

The oil painting course aims to give you the necessary knowledge and skills to work creatively and artistically with oil paints.

 

亮麗的顏色和操作手法吸引了14世紀的藝術家，由於油畫有其獨特的可塑性，可以在風乾的時候繼續創作，因此很適合藝術家的脾性。

Artists have been using oil paints since the 14th century, attracted by their subtlety of colour and ways of manipulation. Oil paints are well suited to the artistic temperament as it is possible to manipulate the paint during its extended drying time and because of its plasticity.

 

此課程適合所有希望學習油畫的人參加，而曾有繪畫經驗者尤佳。

The course is suitable for anyone who wishes to learn how to use oil paints, although some drawing experience may be helpful.

 

此課程首先會詳細介紹各種不同的油畫用品和最佳的繪畫環境，然後引導學員以有限的調色盤顏色和簡化的形狀設計簡單的作品。

The course starts with a detailed look at the materials and equipment used in oil painting and considers the best working environment. It then moves on to help you create a simple painting using a limited palette and simplified shapes.

 

此課程亦會談及在畫紙上繪畫，以及轉移到帆畫布上的技巧。 此外，還會講解一些有關顏色的理論，讓你作品上控制自如。

The course discusses techniques for planning your drawing on paper and then transferring it to canvas. There is a look at colour theory and ways of handling colour in your picture.

The course is full of useful advice about how to make the most out of your oil paints and how to get the effects that you want from them.

素描訓練班

Sketching Training Class

 

素描除了是傳統視覺藝術的必修基礎課程外，更是現代建築、3D建模、產品設計等首選的入門課程；本課程有助學生學習和理解物體的結構、空間、明暗、透視、質感和立體之間的關係。

Sketch is not only a compulsory foundation for conventional visual arts classes, but also modern architecture, 3D modeling, product design, and more. From learning and understanding the structure of

an object, students know the relationship of space, bright and dim, texture and 3 dimensions.

 

本課程著重教授如何準確地造型的方法和各種素描語言的表現手法；亦協助小朋友，觀察事物從平面的角度轉向立體角度变。因此素描對觀察力極有幫助。

This class emphasizes on how to accurately create a style and jargon of sketching. Needless to say, students learn how to express different jargon on sketching paper. For kids, observation starts from 2D and then shifts to 3D. Sketching fosters observation skill effectively.

本班同時也為學生提供举办全國美術考試素描各級考試前輔導。

Students can select to join the pre-National Art Examination counselling classes.

水墨畫初階課程

Chinese Ink and Wash Painting Elementary Course

 

「江南董源傳巨然，淡墨輕嵐為一體。」說的就是水墨畫。中國水墨畫源遠流長，具有獨特的藝術語言，水墨畫至今仍持續發展，是中國繪畫藝術與西方繪畫藝術區別重要的特徵畫種。本課程以導師示範和學員練習相結合，着重從臨摹近、現代大師名作入手，由淺入深，從易到難，教授勾勒、構圖、分層着色的基礎，繪製水墨小品。

The techniques of Chinese Ink and Wash Painting aresteeped in history. It is one of the oldest art forms and yet it still remains popular in our modern age. The style and features of these art forms make it easy to distinguish between eastern and western paintings. In this curriculum, through the demonstration of tutors and practice of students, students will imitate modern artists from basic to advanced levels, from the most simple piece of art work to the most complex. They will learn how to master the technique of the pen and discover how to apply the ink in an appropriate way to paint their masterpieces such as outline, composition and layer shading.

Cartoon/Comic Research Class

 

研究創作技巧及故事，並將之應用在繪畫之中。

學員將做到以下幾點：

Let’s spend time studying creative features and characteristics. Students will learn:

 

1. 掌握卡通角色的特點及演化，並把它們準確默畫出來。

Mastering different features and the evolution of different roles in the comic, so that they can accurately

draw characters.

2. 掌握卡通角色動作規律及變化。

Mastering the principles of movement and changes in pose of different characters.

3. 學習卡通漫畫效果表現方法，包括各種材料的運用特點及運用方法。

Methods to express different comic effects, including the characteristics of various drawing materials.

4. 運用想象力及創意，設計新的角色和故事背景 (如個人處境、學校生活或周圍環境)，創作屬於自己的故事 。

Independently creating a new character and storyboard about their personal stories, school life or other

events happening in their surrounding environment.

Origami Fun

 

通過簡單而富趣味性的摺紙製作，引發兒童的創作力，更可提高手指的靈活度。

Stop-motion animated movie

 

本課程讓學員了解未來設計發展的方向，方便他們在學習和工作中自行製作作品。

This course helps students to understand the future development of design and make it convenient to produce their own products.

升學用視覺藝術作品集與面試準備班

Visual Arts Portfolio and Interview Preparation Class

 

海外及本地大學藝術或建築學系一般要求申請者提交作品集，甚至面試，本課程涵蓋廣泛，包括建築設計、時裝設計、室內設計、繪畫藝術、3D創意產品製作、色彩意識傳達、傳統藝術技巧等，並學習基礎透視畫法及各種效果圖表現手法，學習如何記錄創意概念思路歷程、製作過程，評論及改善地方。適合準備在海外或本地升讀大學或大專及學前面試提交作品集的人士選讀。（由於大學或大專院校要求全面，應在提交前一年至兩年準備。）

School of Art or Architecture in overseas and local universities usually requires their applicants to submit

their own portfolio, or even interview. Our course has a broad coverage, including architectural design,

fashion design, paintings, 3D creative illustration, colour appreciation, traditional artistic design, etc.,

together with learning the basics of perspective drawing and different kinds of working sketches. Students

are able to learn how to record their own creative ideas from thinking process and working process,

comment and make improvements. Our course is absolutely fit for all students who are preparing to

submit their own portfolios for the study at overseas and local universities. (Due to the comprehensive

requirements of universities or colleges, students should be ready in one to two years prior to submission.)
